All 513 House, Senate and governor races on the November 3 ballot and the 1439 candidates we have on file. On election night, results appear here race by race as AP or official sources call them, with which winners the pro-Israel PACs backed.
Next to a Democrat in Congress, $ backing is their backing from the pro-Israel PACs we track, 2016–2026 (contributions plus outside spending for them); $0 backing means none. Tap a name for each PAC by year, with FEC links.
Which members of Congress are backed by AIPAC? See the list →
In a general election against a Republican, we want the Democrat to win, every time. Donate and Volunteer buttons appear for 19 nominees we chose to feature, none of them backed by the pro-Israel PACs we track (why that matters); where this comes from.

Where this comes from
Candidates as of October 9, 2026: Democratic and Republican nominees from state election offices and news reports, every race checked against Ballotpedia’s candidate lists; independent and minor-party candidates from Ballotpedia’s lists, read on October 9, 2026, which Ballotpedia says may not be complete (write-in candidates aren’t shown; for DC and the territories we list only the candidates we found in local news). In 8 top-two races two Democrats face each other and no Republican is on the ballot. 3 races have no Democrat or Democratic-backed candidate. The selection of featured nominees is ours: most nominees the tracked PACs haven’t backed don’t have buttons here.
Ratings are the average of up to seven nonpartisan forecasters: the Cook Political Report, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, Inside Elections, Decision Desk HQ, Split Ticket, The Economist and Silver Bulletin. Each rating counts Solid 3, Likely 2, Lean 1, Tilt ½ and Toss-up 0 toward the favored party; the average of the forecasters that rate a race is shown as the nearest label (a tie goes to the less certain one), with the range from the most Democratic to the most Republican rating. Each forecaster’s own ratings pages: Cook Political Report (Senate ratings by Cook Political Report, House ratings by Cook Political Report, governor ratings by Cook Political Report); Decision Desk HQ (Senate ratings by Decision Desk HQ, House ratings by Decision Desk HQ, governor ratings by Decision Desk HQ); Inside Elections (Senate ratings by Inside Elections, House ratings by Inside Elections, governor ratings by Inside Elections); Sabato's Crystal Ball (Senate ratings by Sabato's Crystal Ball, House ratings by Sabato's Crystal Ball, governor ratings by Sabato's Crystal Ball); Silver Bulletin (Senate ratings by Silver Bulletin, House ratings by Silver Bulletin, governor ratings by Silver Bulletin); Split Ticket (Senate ratings by Split Ticket, House ratings by Split Ticket); The Economist (Senate ratings by The Economist, House ratings by The Economist). Their sites block automated reading, so we collect the ratings from the tables Wikipedia editors keep of them, on October 20, 2026; a forecaster may have changed a rating since, and we re-read them at least weekly before publishing. Top-two races between two candidates of one party aren’t rated by forecasters; they show that party as Solid. See it on the map (all states) · Found an error? Tell us.

How these races are decided
- Most votes wins (420 races): the usual rule everywhere not listed below.
- Top-two (63 races: California and Washington): all candidates ran on one primary ballot and the two leaders advanced, whatever their party, so two Democrats (or two Republicans) can meet in November.
- Runoff if no majority (17 races: Georgia and U.S. Virgin Islands): a candidate needs more than half the vote; if no one gets it, the top two meet again in a runoff.
- Ranked-choice (7 races: Alaska, District of Columbia and Maine): voters rank the candidates; if no one has a majority of first choices, the last-place candidate is dropped and those ballots go to their next choice, until someone has a majority.
- All-party ballot (6 races: Louisiana): every candidate, of any party, is on one ballot on November 3; if no one wins a majority, the top two go to a runoff on December 12. (Louisiana had planned separate party primaries for its House races in 2026; they were cancelled after the Supreme Court struck down its map in Louisiana v. Callais, so the state went back to this system. Source: Ballotpedia.).
- Democratic-backed independents (2: Todd Achilles in Idaho, Dan Osborn in Nebraska) are listed with the Democrats, where the Democratic nominee withdrew or the party endorsed them; their party label says so.
