The money, votes, trips and 2026 primary figures on this site, as spreadsheets you can sort, check and cite. Free to use under CC BY 4.0 (credit Primary Democrats). FEC data through August 31, 2026; files generated October 20, 2026.
The data covers all 288 people the site tracks. That is every Democrat in the House and Senate, the two independents who caucus with them, and all Democratic governors. For each person it has money from AIPAC PAC, its super PAC United Democracy Project and the other tracked pro-Israel PACs. The money is split by source and by election cycle (2016–2026). It also has voting scores, AIPAC-funded trips and links to each person's page.
| File | What's in it | Rows | Size |
|---|---|---|---|
| people.csv | One row per person: money totals by source and cycle, separate (not-totaled) money, voting scores, trips, positions and a profile link. | 288 | 80 KB |
| votes.csv | One row per person per scored roll-call vote, with how they voted and a link to the official roll call. | 7,160 | 1.3 MB |
| races_2026.csv | One row per candidate in each 2026 Democratic primary on the 2026 page (18 scored races and 6 where the tracked groups only gave contributions), with tracked money for and against. | 42 | 17 KB |
| trips.csv | One row per AIPAC-affiliated (AIEF) trip reported on House and Senate gift-travel filings (2017 on), linked to the filing or an archived copy of it. | 119 | 18 KB |
| money_ledger.csv | One row per FEC-filed line behind the money totals (filing and transaction IDs, how each line was counted, and any correction). Adds up to the totals in people.csv (which are rounded to whole dollars, so within $1). No donor names. | 69,055 | 14.5 MB |
| industry_pacs.csv | One row per person, industry PAC (drug makers, health insurers, oil and gas, guns, banks/finance/insurance, tobacco, labor unions) and receiving campaign committee: the total, how many FEC lines, and a link to the FEC's list of those payments. Adds up to the industry_pacs_* columns (PACs that refunded as much as they gave are listed but not counted). Separate: never part of the pro-Israel totals. | 24,300 | 6.1 MB |
| README.txt | What every file and column means, sources and caveats. | – | 23 KB |
The README explains every column. No individual donor names are in these downloads: money_ledger.csv has a row for each earmarked contribution a PAC passed on, but never the donor’s name.

How to use it
- Start with
people.csv.total_pro_israel_pacis the headline number. It adds AIPAC PAC (direct and earmarked), United Democracy Project's supporting spending and the other tracked PACs, which are also broken out in their own columns and by cycle. - Don't add the separate columns to the total. The AIPAC donor network, affiliated committees, weapons makers' PACs, crypto and AI super PACs, and spending against someone are context, not part of the total.
- Check the source before you publish. Each
profile_urlpage links to the person's FEC records, and every row invotes.csvandtrips.csvlinks to the official roll call or filing. - Join on
person_id. Every file has it and it's never blank. Usebioguide(the standard congressional ID) only to match other congressional datasets: it's blank for governors who never served in Congress.fec_idslink to FEC candidate records. - Trace any total to the filings.
money_ledger.csvhas every FEC-filed line behind the totals, with filing and transaction IDs and a link to the filing. Summingamountwherecounted_in_totalis yes, byperson_id, givestotal_pro_israel_pacto within $1, since totals are rounded to whole dollars (the build stops if it doesn't). Lines changed by a documented correction say so inadjustment. - Mind the caveats. Donor-network matches are made by name and ZIP code, so a few may be different people with the same name. The earmarked/direct split of AIPAC PAC money follows AIPAC PAC's own label on each contribution, and a voting score marked as a limited record rests on fewer than 3 votes.
- Found a problem? Tell us. Corrections are logged on the change log.
